Quiet few days.

After the painting of last week, ive had a few days of quiet contemplation. Been reading through the rules of a few old games.

Cry Havoc http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/1323/cry-havoc

And a bunch of old magazine games.

Played a few games of Dwarf Kings Hold on friday night with SP and that went well.

When everything is painted up ill do a full review 😛

Take care out there

Brian.

Revenants continue to take shape.

Did some more work on the revenants today. Wasnt too sure on the armour but it seems to have worked out ok in the end.

Next will just be the finishing touches, leather, bases and done.

Take care out there.

Paper Streets :)

Been working on making a card city for out All Things Zombie game. I made 18 buildings, this turned out to be no where near enough. The buildings are from the World Works Games – Swift Scenics range and they are amazing. The buildings go together easily and look great. I just havent done any edging, i need to at some point just to finish them off

Should be having a city clearout this friday, ill try and get a report up after it.
Have fun and watch out for zombies.

DKH – Undead Revenant Troop

Hi all,

Just been working on the Revenant Troop for my dwarf kings hold game, these are the more heavily armoured skeletons for the game.

Ive decided that they are to be in red robes the rest of the model will be painted in much the same way as the Skeleton Troop. The only other difference will be the embelished armour and helms will be done maybe in gold – thought im not fully decided as yet.

Heres a work in progress shot.

Anyway hope you like.

The weathers terrible down here today so no light, so i doubt ill get much more in the way of painting done.

Take care out there
Brian.

More Troops for Dwarf Kings Hold finished

So this is the last 6 out of the 12 standard Skeleton Troops that came with Dwarf Kings Hold – Dead Rising. There was one sprue of Skeleton Troo, and one sprue of Balefire Catapult.

There all came together nicely, the models are fantasticaly sculpted and had minimal flash and mould lines.

Anyway the piccy 🙂

Hope you like them

The next on the bench is the Mantic Skeleton Revenants from Dead Rising.

Take Care
Brian.

So whats been happening?

Well, my illness to a turn for the worse just after christmas and it took me some time to really get my head back together. In the past few weeks ive managed to pick up the blade and the brush and have been working on making a city for our All Things Zombie game on a friday using World Works Games swift scenic range. Ive also been painting some skeletons for Dwarf Kings Hold.

Heres a shot of them 🙂
